From Bank Escrow Rep To Teacher To Mortgage Loan Originator
Sharing the Career Evolution of Priority Mortgage Loan Originator Monica Miller
Monica Miller began her career at a big bank in their escrow department before transferring to the loan processing area. In the loan processing division, she discovered a natural curiosity for the mortgage industry and wanted to learn more about loan products and programs, so she transitioned to an assistant role with one of the most successful Mortgage Loan Originators in Ohio at Priority Mortgage.
After a few years of serving in this role, she elected to make a career change and teach utilizing her degree in Education (she has two, the other is in Criminology). It was during her time as a teacher that she recognized that her true passion was helping borrowers finance homes. The personal reward of “helping people to be able to achieve their dreams of homeownership” was immeasurable. She knew she needed to return to the mortgage business and she “chose to return to Priority for the support, work environment and its reputation as being one of the best mortgage companies in Ohio.”
She enjoys working in this dynamic business because there are always “people, families and empty-nesters to move, find homes and refinance.” It feels stable, necessary and provides so much satisfaction for clients and herself.
