What’s New for Priority Mortgage in 2018

Priority Mortgage

Priority Mortgage Corp. is proud to celebrate 34 years in the home loan business this year! We caught up with Priority Mortgage President Josh Hill to find out what’s on the horizon for 2018.

Priority is entering into a second year under a new ownership team, including President Josh Hill and Vice Presidents Brad Ratliff, Marianne Viola and Lisa Kendle. This year, that core team is beginning to put in place new goals and priorities for the company.

“We’re excited to continue to play that out as we really get a feel for how we are taking over as an ownership team instead of a management team,” Hill says.

This year, we are looking to grow and will have a team member dedicated to the recruiting effort for new mortgage loan originators.

“We are looking to grow both our home office here in Central Ohio and at the potential for chances to grow branching efforts in different parts of Ohio,” Hill explains. “It’s been a while since we’ve done any kind of branching.”

Branching out, whether it’s establishing new offices or hiring loan originators to work from home in those targeted areas, will allow Priority Mortgage to continue to build more of a market share outside of Central Ohio.

Also in the pipeline for 2018 are technological advances that will help streamline the home loan application process. Improved technology will change the way Priority’s online application operates, making it more robust and user-friendly.

If you happen to stop by the Priority Mortgage office at 150 E. Wilson Bridge Road in Worthington, you’ll notice a whole new look! We recently finished a remodeling project. You’ll notice all-new hardwood flooring and a refreshed color scheme in our receptionist area, with updated flooring and a fresh coat of paint throughout the building!
